Cindy Hewett

Cindy Hewett, CPA, MBA is a Managing Director in Perrin & Co.'s Institutional Credit & Capital Advisory practice. She brings more than 25 years of experience across commercial banking, institutional credit, private capital, real estate investment, and public accounting.

Cindy spent approximately 15 years with U.S. Bank, serving as Credit Manager, Equipment Finance and Credit Officer, Commercial Lending. She held credit approval authority and led the credit analysis function within her team, overseeing the structuring and underwriting of new and renewal credit packages for commercial and industrial lending and equipment-finance transactions. Her responsibilities combined credit leadership with direct involvement in cash-flow projections, covenant testing, risk assessments, credit memoranda, loan structuring, and negotiation of terms.

Since 2021, Cindy has also operated as a principal in real estate investment and private capital. She has underwritten and funded private-credit transactions and evaluated borrower repayment capacity, collateral, leverage, lien position, transaction risk, and capital structure from the perspective of a principal deploying capital.

A Tennessee-licensed Certified Public Accountant with an MBA, Cindy brings together the perspectives of an institutional lender, borrower-side advisor, accounting professional, private-capital lender, and real estate investor. She helps clients evaluate debt capacity, financing alternatives, lender expectations, covenant structures, refinancing, and commercial real estate financing; her Perrin & Co. practice does not include tax, audit, attest, or other regulated public-accounting services.
